Retired computers and networking gear from your clients, with a data certificate for every drive.

Small offices

Law firms, accountants, real estate offices and property managers.

Schools and churches

Old computers, cameras and other electronics you no longer use.

How we handle your data

Every drive we pick up is wiped or destroyed, and every one is logged by serial number. Here is exactly what happens.

Hard drives

Overwritten following the NIST SP 800-88 "Clear" guideline, then verified.

SSDs

Erased with the drive's built-in sanitize command.

Drives that can't be wiped

Physically destroyed: drilled, or sent to a shredding company. When a shredding company is used, we pass along its certificate.

Memory cards

Cards found in cameras and recorders are removed and wiped or destroyed.

Your data certificate

Every drive is logged by serial number. The certificate you receive lists, for each drive:

  • Serial number
  • Method used
  • Tool used
  • Date
  • Technician

Questions

Is pickup free?

Yes, for most business loads. Loads that are mostly junk may have a fee.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. You get a data certificate listing every drive by serial number, plus a recycling certificate.

How soon can you pick up?

Usually within 1 to 2 days.

Do you pay for newer equipment?

It depends on age and condition. Ask us.

What happens to equipment that still works?

It's tested, wiped and refurbished for reuse. Everything else goes to a recycling partner.

How small a load will you take?

Small loads are welcome. Tell us what you have and we'll let you know.

For recyclers and partners

We work with recyclers, collection programs and junk removal companies. If you handle electronics and want reusable items like cameras, camcorders, handheld games and laptop chargers to go to reuse instead of the shredder, get in touch.
